A St. Clair County trucking company is being sued after one of its drivers allegedly crashed into a car in Pontoon Beach.
Rachael C. Honnen filed a lawsuit Sept. 11 in Madison County Circuit Court against Jung Truck Service Inc. and Baron K. Manning.
Honnen says she was driving south on state Route 111 in September 2011 while Manning was driving north in a 2007 Freightliner semi-truck. According to the petition, Manning was in the left turn lane at Gateway Commerce Drive and turned in front of Honnen, crashing into her.
Manning and his employer, Jung Truck Services, are accused of negligence. Honnen seeks more than $100,000 in damages for medical expenses, plus costs of the lawsuit. Honnen is represented by attorney Jeffrey C. Weishaupt of East Alton.
