A Madison County man is being sued after his car allegedly was in a crash while being taken for a test drive.
Aaron Vorpagel filed a lawsuit in Madison County Circuit Court Sept. 11 against Ronald Huckfeldt Jr. and Todd Hemann.
According to the lawsuit, Hemann allowed Huckfeldt to take his car for a test drive on June 5. While Huckfeldt was driving west on Interstate Highway 70 in Pin Oak Township, a tire allegedly ruptured on the car causing Huckfeldt to hit the back of Vorpagel's vehicle near milepost 70.
Vorpagel accuses Hemann of negligence for allegedly failing to properly maintain his vehicle. He also accuses Huckfeldt of negligence and asks for more than $100,000 in damages for medical costs, lost wages and court fees.
