Brown and James in St. Louis has announced new shareholders, new principal and new senior associates:
New shareholders
David P. Bub practices in the firm’s St. Louis office and focuses on general defense, personal injury, premises liability, toxic tort litigation and insurance law. He has successfully tried countless jury trials to verdict and regularly authors and lectures to client and industry groups on insurance claims litigation, property loss and premises liability.
In 2011, Bub was named "Winningest Defense Attorney" by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. In 2012 and 2013, he was listed as a "Super Lawyer" in the Civil Litigation Defense practice area by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers. He recently received his first listing in The Best Lawyers in America, published by Best Lawyers, for the Insurance Law practice area (2015 publication). He received his law degree (cum laude) from St. Louis University.
Corey L. Kraushaar practices in the firm’s St. Louis office and focuses his practice on product liability, personal injury, large loss subrogation and insurance coverage litigation matters.
He is an experienced trial attorney, receiving numerous favorable jury verdicts for his clients, including some of the largest recent defense verdicts in Missouri as recognized by Missouri Lawyers Weekly, and frequently lectures on topics including first-party insurance defense and subrogation issues.
Kraushaar is a past recipient of the Missouri Bar Foundation’s Lon O. Hocker Award for Outstanding Trial Advocacy (2010), awarded annually to a young lawyer who has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in trial advocacy. He also is a past recipient of the "Up & Coming Award" (2013), given by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. Mr. Kraushaar received his law degree from St. Louis University.
New principal
Halle L. Dimar practices in the firm’s St. Louis office and focuses her practice solely on defending health care providers, including physicians, nurses, nursing homes, dentists and pharmacies. Dimar was named a "Rising Star" in the Personal Injury Defense: Medical Malpractice practice area by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers from 2011 through 2013. She received her law degree from St. Louis University.
New senior associates
Jessica S. Holliday practices in the firm’s Belleville office. She focuses her practice on employment law, premises and retail liability, product liability, subrogation and transportation. Holliday received her law degree from St. Louis University.
Cynthia M. Juedemann practices in the firm’s St. Louis office. She concentrates her practice in complex business litigation, insurance coverage, and appellate practice. Juedemann received her law degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Missouri.
Morgan C. Murphy practices in the firm’s St. Louis office. Her practice includes defending doctors and health care institutions in medical negligence and wrongful death lawsuits in Missouri. Murphy is active with the Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section. She received her law degree (cum laude) from Washington University in St. Louis.
Tyler C. Schaeffer practices in the firm’s St. Louis office. He focuses his practice on environmental insurance, toxic torts, professional liability, and appellate practice. Mr. Schaeffer received his law degree from the University of Missouri.
