Alton accident suit seeks $50K in damages

A man is suing the driver of car that allegedly crashed into him on an Alton road.

Nehemiah T. Keeton filed a lawsuit on Sept. 8 in Madison County Circuit Court against Thomas J. Hartman.

Keeton says he was driving in Alton in September 2012, when he was hit by a car being driven by Hartman. Keeton accuses Hartman of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and court fees.
