A man has filed suit against a doctor employed by the Southern Illinois Brain and Spine Center, saying the doctor performed two improper operations on him.

William Morris filed suit July 7 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Joseph Yazdi M.D. and HSHS Medical Group Inc., doing business as Southern Illinois Brain and Spine Center.

He also lost wages and incurred medical costs, the suit states.

Morris is seeking a judgment of more than $150,000, plus costs. He will be represented by Kelli E. Keefe and Thomas Q. Keefe Jr. of Keefe and Keefe in Belleville.
