A bank claims a man has failed to repay nearly $150,000 he borrowed.
Deutsche Bank National Trust Company filed a lawsuit June 13 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Mark Levin.
In its complaint, Deutsche claims it lent Levin $150,000 on July 31, 2006. Levin agreed to make monthly payments of $1,541.76 beginning in September of 2006, according to the complaint. Since then Levin has failed to make the scheduled payments, the suit states. Even though Deutsche sent Levin a note requesting payment, he continues to refuse to render the money, the complaint says.
In its complaint, Deutsche seeks the remaining principal balance of $149,643.66, plus interest at a rate of 11.99 percent, monthly late charges of 5 percent, attorneys’ fees, costs and other relief the court deems just.
It is being represented by H. Evan Williams of Smith Amundsen in St. Charles.
