A Millstadt man claims he suffered severe and permanent injuries when he fell after a blood draw.
Terry Carrico filed suit June 23 against Labcorp DCL Labs saying the defendant failed to supervise him after his blood was drawn at a Collinsville facility.
"The plaintiff after his blood was drawn stood up and was caused to be dizzy whereby he fell, struck his head, and was caused to sustain severe and pertinent disabling injuries," the suit says.
Carrico says he has incurred the expenditure of large sums for treatment of his injuries. He seeks in excess of $50,000 in damages.
He is represented by Grey Chatham Jr. of Chatham and Baricevic in Swansea.
St. Clair County case number 14-L-516.
