A woman has filed suit against the tenant she claims breached his lease with her.
Moon Sung Song filed May 14 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Aljim Deva.
According to the complaint, Song and the defendant entered into a lease agreement for the premises at 1333 Central Park Suite 101 in O’Fallon. As part of the lease agreement, Deva would pay a monthly rent of $8,200 per month from April 16, through Jan. 31, 2019, according to the complaint. The rent would gradually increase every year until Feb. 1, 2018, when it would be $10,933.33 per month, the suit states.
On May 3, Song spoke to Deva about possible renovations to the restaurant. The following day, Deva moved out of the premises without Song’s authorization, the complaint says.
Song alleges breach of contract against Deva.
Song is seeking the entire balance of the remaining term of the lease. She will be represented by Benedict Y. Song of St. Louis.
