Travelers Property Casualty Company of America is suing a construction company for allegedly failing to pay its insurance policy premiums.
A suit was filed May 6 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Love Construction and Remodeling Inc., citing breach of contract.
The plaintiff claims it issued the defendant a workers compensation insurance policy for the dates June 20, 2011, through Sept. 27, 2012. The suit alleges the plaintiff conducted a physical audit on the defendant's business and determined the premium for the insurance policy was found to be $57,803.93. According to the complaint, the defendant has not paid the premium despite demands made.
The plaintiff is seeking judgement of $57,803.93 and court costs. It is being represented by attorneys Blitt and Gaines P.C.
