A St. Clair County couple is suing over claims their insurance company has failed to pay coverage on a collision with an underinsured motorist.
Todd and Margaret Libbra filed a lawsuit May 7 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Progressive Universal Insurance Company.
According to the complaint, the Libbras, who are insured by Progressive for $250,000 of underinsured motorists' coverage, were involved in a collision with an underinsured motorist March 25, 2012. The Libbras say Progressive has failed to proceed with the coverage.
The Libbras are seeking damages and costs in an amount to be determined by the court. They are being represented in the case by attorney Gregory L. Shevlin of Cook, Ysursa, Bartholomew, Brauer & Shevlin Ltd.
