A man is suing over claims his lung cancer was caused by asbestos exposure.
Richard and Catherine Bradley filed a lawsuit May 7 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Caterpillar Inc., Ford Motor Company, Kohler Company and dozens of other companies, citing asbestos exposure.
According to the complaint, on Feb. 28, 2013, Richard Bradley was diagnosed with lung cancer, which he subsequently learned was caused by exposure from the use of products designed, manufactured, sold and marketed by the defendant companies in his occupation as a Texaco worker and a residential carpenter.
The Bradleys are seeking more than $50,000 in damages. They are being represented in the case by attorneys Randy L. Gori and Barry Julian of Gori, Julian & Associates P.C.
