A Madison County hospital filed suit against the woman it claims failed to pay it more than $80,000 for services it rendered to her or her minor child.
Granite City Hospital, doing business as Gateway Regional Medical Center, filed a lawsuit April 30 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Kelly N. Breckenridge.
In its complaint, Granite City alleges it rendered medical services to Breckenridge or her spouse or minor child May 25, and Aug. 23. The total bill for the services amounted to $83,011.14, according to the complaint.
However, Breckenridge has failed to pay the bill, the suit states.
In addition to the money it claims it is owed, Granite City Hospital is seeking attorney’s fees of $8,551, plus costs and other relief the court deems just. It is being represented by Darian B. LaSaline.
