A woman has filed suit against the truck driver who she claims struck her vehicle when he attempted to change lanes.
Kimberly D. Miller filed the lawsuit March 7 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Jefrey A. Edwards and Swift Transportation Company.
According to the complaing, Miller was driving on Interstate 55 at mile post 21 in Pin Oak Township on April 12, 2012, when the defendant, who was working for Swift Transportation Company, attempted to change lanes. In doing so, he struck Miller’s vehicle, according to the complaint.
Because of the collision, Miller sustained injuries and incurred medical bills, the suit states.
Miller is seeking a judgment of more than $50,000, plus other relief the court deems just. She is being represented by William E. Farr.
