A woman has filed suit against the driver who she claims rear-ended her vehicle.
Tracy L. Campbell filed a lawsuit March 10 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Brittany Kronable.
According to the complaint Campbell was driving north on Wise Road/Riverlands Way on March 19, 2012, when the defendant, who was driving in the same direction, struck the back of her vehicle.
Because of the collision, Campbell suffered head and neck injuries, incurred medical costs and lost wages, according to the complaint. She also experienced pain and suffering and endured disability, the suit states.
Kronable negligently failed to maintain control of her vehicle, failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to yield the right-of-way and drove too fast, the complaint says.
Campbell is seeking a judgment in excess of the minimum requirements of the court. She is being represented by Laura A. Cole of Smith, Mendenhall, Selby and Cole in Alton.
