A woman is suing following a vehicle crash, naming her insurance company and the other motorist as defendants.
Jennifer Kieskalt Wallace filed a lawsuit Jan. 15 in St. Clair Circuit Court against Tilford Hendricks and Country Preferred Insurance Company.
According to the complaint, on April 21, 2012, Wallace was driving her vehicle on East B Street near North Virginia Avenue in Belleville when defendant Hendricks failed to stop at a stop sign, and collided into the plaintiff's car with her vehicle. Wallace is accusing Hendricks of failing to keep a proper lookout, failing to obey a stop sign and driving at an excessive speed, resulting in property damage and injury.
Also named in the complaint, Country Preferred is facing suit for allegedly failing to pay on the claim made by its client, the plaintiff.
Wallace is seeking damages in excess of $50,000, plus court costs. She is being represented in the case by attorney Daniel K. Juncker.
