The driver and passengers of a vehicle involved in a collision are suing after sustaining injuries.
Delesha L. Miller, Elnita J. Miller, Denise M. Miller, Dennis Miller and Elnita J. Miller, as parents and next friends of Dennis Miller Jr., a minor, Dennis Miller and Elnita J. Miller, filed a lawsuit Jan. 2 in Madison County Circuit Court against Michelle L. Reynolds, citing negligence.
The complaint states that on Jan. 3, 2012, Delesha Miller was driving a vehicle owned by Dennis Miller and was turning left onto Illinois Highway 159 when the defendant struck the vehicle the plaintiff was driving. According to the complaint, Elnita J. Miller, Denise M. Miller and Dennis Miller Jr. were passengers in Delesha's car at the time of the accident. The plaintiffs contend the defendant was negligent, which caused the collision and resulting injuries.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages in excess of $50,000.
