A bank has filed suit against the two people who it claims failed to repay it more than $100,000.
RBS Citizens claims it lent defendants Mikele and Teron Bowman money on Dec. 18, 2006. The Bowmans were supposed to repay the loan in monthly installments, according to the complaint filed Dec. 5 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Since then, however, the Bowmans have not made their required monthly payments, the suit states.
“That allowing for all credits due defendants, there is due and owing as of November 5, 2013, the sum of $125,974.71,” the complaint says.
In addition to the money it says it is owed, RBS Citizens is seeking attorney’s fees, costs and other relief the court deems just.
Michael Bablo of Freedman, Anselmo and Lindberg in Naperville will be representing it.
St. Clair County Circuit Court case number: 13-L-608.
