  Attorney General Raoul Files Lawsuit Against Cwlp Over 2021 Coal Ash Release

  Attorney General Kwame Raoul filed a lawsuit against City, Water, Light, and Power (CWLP) for allegedly releasing more than 700 tons of fly ash into the environment. CWLP is owned and operated by the city of Springfield, Illinois and provides drinking water and electricity to Springfield residents.
