Crowder removed from asbestos docket
Crowder Madison County Circuit Judge Barbara Crowder has been removed as presiding asbestos judge and re-assigned to handle chancery, miscellaneous remedies and eminent domain cases in the court's civil division, according to an administrative order entered Dec. 12.

Callis Illinois Supreme Court Justice Lloyd Karmeier will get to pick a replacement for Madison County Chief Judge Ann Callis when she steps down, as expected, to make a run for the 12th Congressional seat being vacated by Rep. Jerry Costello (D-Belleville).
