Missouri company alleges Texas credit corporation reneged on deal to buy a debt

BELLEVILLE – A Missouri company is suing a Texas corporation citing a breach of contract.

Plaintiff Claim 41, LLC filed a lawsuit in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against defendant Reticulum Management, LLC, citing breach of contract.

According to the lawsuit, Claim 41 entered into a contract with Reticulum to buy a bankruptcy claim which would entitle the plaintiff to any funds paid on that bankruptcy. The plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 6, 2020, Reticulum received a check from the bankruptcy court for that account in the amount of $6,424.56 and that the defendant has refused to forward the payment to the plaintiff.

Claim 41 is seeking damages in the amount of $6,424.56, plus interest, attorney fees, court costs and any other relief the court deems proper. The plaintiff is represented in this case by attorney Ted F. Frapolli of the Law Office of Ted Frapolli in St. Louis.
