Pepper Hamilton has been selected for WomenInc. 2019 “Top 100 Law Firms for Women” list. The list recognizes those firms that have distinguished themselves for their number of women leaders and their history of promotion of women within the firm and legal community.
Firms were selected for the list based a number of factors, including prior recognition, recruitment and community outreach, and firm prominence, with input from the editorial staff of WomenInc, a leading publication dedicated to comprehensive coverage of women’s achievement in business.
This recognition of Pepper’s diversity and inclusion efforts follows the firm’s announcement that it achieved Mansfield Certification in 2019 after completing a 12-month program run by the Diversity Lab. Under the Mansfield Rule 2.0, law firms committed to affirmatively consider at least 30 percent women, lawyers of color and LGBTQ+ lawyers for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities and senior lateral positions.
