A St. Clair County woman says she is being harassed by a man who allegedly took back several vehicles he gave to her as gifts.

Lisa Curtis filed a lawsuit June 25 against Robert O. Quirin in St. Clair County Circuit Court.

According to the complaint, Quirin bought a Polaris Sportsman 800 4-wheeler and a Lexus EX 350 for Curtis in 2008. She says she also accepted a gift of a Platinum 3-horse trailer with living quarters from Quirin in 2011. Curtis claims in March 2012 Quirin came to her house and took the 4-wheeler without her permission.

Then, in May of 2012, Quiren allegedly did the same with the horse trailer. Curtis also contends Quirin is in possession of the title to the Lexus and the horse trailer which she needs for vehicle registration with the State of Illinois.

Curtis alleges Quirin has been harassing her as recently as last month by showing up at her house, banging on her door and presenting himself in a threatening way.

She seeks a judgement that would require the return of the two vehicles, a permanent injunction to keep Quirin off her property and damages of more than $120,000, plus court fees. Curtis would also like to have the titles to the Lexus and horse trailer delivered to her.

Attorney Jack A. Strellis of Waterloo represents Curtis. They ask for a jury trial.
