Roth

A Madison County man is suing a Madison County woman for rear-ending his vehicle June 30, 2010, in Alton.

Plaintiff Steve Dellamano claims he was driving on Washington Avenue near the intersection with Wilkinson in Alton when Johnson's 1999 Mercury Tracer rear-ended his 2002 Ford Taurus.

He blames Johnson for failing to keep a proper lookout for him and his vehicle, for operating her vehicle at an excessive speed given the traffic and for failing to reduce her speed to avoid an accident.

Dellamano claims he suffered injuries to his neck, head, shoulders, arms back and legs.

He has incurred and will in the future incur significant medical expenses. He is unable to work as a result of his injuries and has suffered a significant loss of earning capacity.

Dellamano is seeking an amount in excess of $50,000, plus the costs of the lawsuit.

Ronald Roth of Roth Law Offices in Granite City is his attorney.

The case is assigned to Madison County Circuit Judge David Hylla.

The case is Madison County case number 12-L-897.
