Big Daddy's

Big Daddy's Disco Diner in Belleville is being sued by a patron who claims security personnel used excessive force in violently removing him from the premises on April 8.

Arthur V. Fudge III claims he suffered disability and disfigurement, incurred medical bills and lost income as a result of the incident, according to a suit filed Oct. 11 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.

Represented by Kevin Boyne of Belleville, Fudge is seeking $750,000 from the bar, its owner Scott Schmelzel and security guard Ardell K. Adams.

Fudge claims Adams violently grabbed him and threw him to the floor and used excessive force to pull his right arm behind his back.

Big Daddy's is located at 313 East Main St.
