A St. Clair County woman is seeking in excess of $250,000 from a Washington Park nightclub and its owner claiming an intoxicated customer struck and killed her husband who was attempting to cross Old Collinsville Road near Harvard Street on March 31.
Vanessa Kwasny filed suit against Paul Twardoski and Blondies STMP Entertainment in St. Clair County Circuit Court on July 16.
She claims Blondies served alcohol to Kenneth Jones, thereby causing his intoxication in violation of the Dram Shop Act.
Vanessa Kwasny is seeking damages for medical and funeral bills. She also is seeking damages on behalf of herself and her minor children who have suffered the loss of David Kwasny's affection, love, society, companionship and support.
Kwasny is represented by attorney Steven E. Katzman.
