Rosemary Cook is suing Munie Lawn Specialties of Caseyville and Challenge Unlimited of Alton for negligent snow and ice removal and negligent spreading of salt on a parking lot.
Cook claims she sustained injuries after slipping and falling on a dental clinic parking lot at Scott Air Force Base on March 22.
Represented by David C. Knieriem of Clayton, Mo. and David Swimmer of St. Louis, Cook is seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages. The suit was filed Nov. 2 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
She claims medical bills in excess of $5,000 and lost wages in excess of $3,500. In addition, Cook sustained pain and suffering, the complaint states.
