New Lawsuits: Friday, Jan. 13
Melissa Kuebrich, as special administrator of the estate of Brian Kuebrich, deceased, v. General Motors, Beltline Motors, John Urbanowicz and Alton Area Towing and RepairBrian Kuebrich's family claims his 1999 Pontiac Sunfire had a defectively designed steering system that would not properly respond to input from the driver. Urbanowicz is alleged to be negligent because he failed to stop or slow his vehicle when he observed the vehicle Brian Kuebrich was driving approaching him in his lane. His estate is seeking damages in excess of $600,000.

Miller claims he was permanently injured on May 31, 2005, when Brown allegedly collided with him at the intersection of Nameoki and Wilson in Granite City. Miller is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 plus costs of the suit.
