Judge Lloyd Karmeier of Nashville, Republican candidate for the Illinois Supreme Court, is taking his campaign on the road during this final week before election day. Karmeier will be making stops in 23 cities over the next three days.

"Throughout this campaign I have talked about the lack of representation from all parts of the district on the Appellate and Supreme Courts," Karmeier said. "I want people from Robinson to Waterloo and from Taylorville to Chester to know that I need their vote.

"This campaign is about changing the status quo and bringing a new voice with some common sense to the Illinois Supreme Court," he added.

On Wednesday, Oct. 27, Karmeier will be making stops in Robinson, Newton, Effingham, Shelbyville, Taylorville, Greenville, Breese, DuQuoin, and Carbondale. On Thursday, Oct. 28, he will be in Chester, Waterloo, Godfrey, Litchfield, Vandalia, Salem, and Benton. On Friday, Oct. 29, his stops will include Harrisburg, Carmi, Mt. Vernon, Fairfield, Albion, Mt. Carmel, and Olney.

Karmeier, who has been endorsed by the Madison County Record, has earned another media endorsement as well. Monday he was endorsed by the Chicago Tribune. Karmeier has previously been endorsed by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and Southern Illinoisan (Carbondale).
