EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist claims she was injured when another driver failed to yield and caused a collision.
Courtney E. Heitkamp filed a complaint on Oct. 2 in Madison County Circuit Court against Matthew R. Clary, alleging that the driver failed to avoid a collision.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was involved in a car collision near the intersection of Illinois Route 157 and Center Grove Road when the defendant allegedly violated the traffic signal and failed to yield.
She claims she suffered injuries to her right arm, right hand, right wrist, head and back.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of $50,000. She is represented by Robert J. Radice of Horas, Radice & Associates LLC in St. Louis.
