EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver following a collision on New Poag Road.
Barbara Guthrie filed a complaint on Sept. 21 in Madison County Circuit Court against Cameron Casconi.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was stopped in traffic in the westbound lane of New Poag Road near its intersection with Lakeview Corporate Drive when the defendant collided with her vehicle.
She claims she sustained severe and permanent injuries both internally and externally.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by Kenneth B. Beljanski and Jaye R. Lindsay of Brown & Brown LLP in Fairview Heights.
