BELLEVILLE — A former patient is suing a Cahokia nursing center after she allegedly fractured her hip while under the defendant's care.
Levester Riley, who is attorney in fact for Delores Turner, filed a complaint on Sept. 12 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Cahokia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
According to the complaint, Turner sustained a left hip fracture injury when she was left unattended at the skilled nursing facility. Since then, her physical condition deteriorated, the complaint states.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of not less than $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by Robert H. Gregory of Law Office of Robert H. Gregory PC in East Alton.
