BELLEVILLE — A St. Clair County woman are suing a doctor's office and building owners after she allegedly tripped and fell.

Christine Masson filed a complaint on Sept. 6 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against the practice of Dr. Vasantah Pia, Regions Bank, Noble-Vollmer Realty, TIG Investments, Ronald Noble and Janet Noble.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff tripped on a raised area in the doorway of the defendants' medical practice, causing her to fall. She claims she suffered injuries both internally and externally, the complaint states.

The plaintiff blames the defendants for not fixing the dangerous condition of the doorway or warning visitors.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by Micah S. Summers of Walton Telken LLC in Edwardsville.
