EDWARDSVILLE — A Jerseyville man faces a lawsuit over a car accident on Route 4.
Raymond Hunter filed a complaint on Sept. 4 in Madison County Circuit Court against Ricardo Gomez.
According to the complaint, Hunter was a passenger in a 2006 Toyota Sequoia when Gomez struck the rear of the vehicle. Hunter suffered injuries to his head, mouth, neck and back, the complaint states. Hunter claims Gomez was speeding at the time of the accident.
Hunter seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs. He is represented by Aaron M. Vogel of Schultz & Myers LLC in St. Louis.
