Man sues over trip, fall at Rolling Hills Golf Course

EDWARDSVILLE — A Madison County man is suing the Rolling Hills Golf Course after he allegedly tripped on a sidewalk.

Eldon C. Williams Jr. filed a complaint on Aug. 8 in Madison County Circuit Court against Godfrey Fairways Inc., which operates the course, alleging the company negligently maintained the sidewalk.

According to the complaint, Williams alleges he tripped on a raised portion of a sidewalk while walking at the Rolling Hills Golf Course in Godfrey. 

Williams claims he suffered multiple injuries to his mouth, teeth, jaw, back, neck and face. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and damages of more than $50,000, with interest and costs of suit. He is represented by Emily J. Johnson of Hunter & Johnson in Godfrey.
