EDWARDSVILLE – A woman is seeking damages from another driver after a collision in Collinsville.

Lauren N. Morris filed a complaint on June 11 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Nathan D. Thompson alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 20, 2016, she was injured when the defendant caused his vehicle to collide with her vehicle at the intersection of St. Louis Road and Helen Place in Collinsville. She alleges she suffered serious and disabling injuries to her body and limbs and incurred medical and hospitalization expenses.

The plaintiff holds Thompson responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to yield to the right of way.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $50,000, plus costs of court.

She is represented by Julie A. Themer of Tuggle Schiro, Lichtenberger & Themer PC in Decatur.
