Child alleges injuries from trampoline at Aim High Glen Carbon

EDWARDSVILLE — A child is suing Aim High Glen Carbon after he was allegedly injured while using the facility's trampolines. 

Adrian Ferdinand, a minor, by and through his mother and next friend Silvia Ferdinand filed a complaint on April 11 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Aim High Glen Carbon LLC, alleging the recreational complex failed to exercise ordinary care in maintaining a safe premises.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 5, he was at the Glen Carbon facility to use the trampolines when he allegedly suffered injuries. 

As a result, Ferdinand claims he sustained a laceration to his scalp, concussion, disfigurement and incurred medical expenses. 

The plaintiff alleges Aim High Glen Carbon negligently failed to provide any padding to protect its customers while jumping, failed to provide adequate supervision and failed to warn customers of the dangerous condition, including exposed metal and wood.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in excess of $50,000, plus costs of court.
