EDWARDSVILLE — A Madison County woman is being accused of failing to repay a loan after her home was sold.

Rick L. Jones filed a complaint April 2 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Kim S. Delp alleging she violated the fundamental principles of justice, equity and good conscience.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between April 14, 2009, and Dec. 19, 2013, he loaned the defendant a total of $118,450, with a promise to repay upon the sale of her home. The plaintiff holds Kim S. Delp responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to repay the plaintiff after selling her home in May.

The plaintiff seeks a judgment against the defendant in the amount of $118,450, plus costs and relief. He is represented by William A. Asa of Taliana, Buckley & Asa in Edwardsville.
