Car accident 01

BELLEVILLE — A driver is being accused of failing to take proper actions to avoid a collision in St. Clair County.

Brian Gessi and Katrina Gessi filed a complaint March 21 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Nicole Donner, alleging she breached her duty to exercise reasonable care for the safety of other motorist and their property.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on May 13 they were in a vehicle traveling southbound on Green Mount Road near Frank Scott Parkway in St. Clair County when the defendant collided with their vehicle.

They claim they sustained severe and permanent injuries resulting in great pain and anguish.

The plaintiffs allege Donner negligently drove her vehicle faster than reasonable and failed to take evasive actions at the first appearance of danger.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action.

They are represented by Brian B. Beljanski and Jaye R. Lindsay of Brown & Brown LLP in Fairview Heights.
