Man alleges boneless wings contained foreign object at Buffalo Wild Wings

BELLEVILLE — A man claims he bit into a foreign object while eating boneless wings at the O'Fallon Buffalo Wild Wings.

Bradley Nelson filed a complaint on March 12 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Diversified Restaurant Holdings Inc., Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. and Tyson Foods Inc., alleging they breached their duties to serve food that are safe for human consumption.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 1, 2016, he ordered boneless wings at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in O'Fallon. When he bit into his food, he claims a hard-foreign object crunched. He immediately felt pain in his mouth, jaw and teeth, the suit states.

Nelson claims he has suffered serious injuries, lost wages, pain and suffering and medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants negligently prepared the food and failed to provide warning that the boneless wings contained a foreign object.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount greater than $50,000 but less than $75,000.

He is represented by Peter S. Blasi of Evans | Blasi in Granite City.
