EDWARDSVILLE – The owner of an Edwardsville property claims that its previous tenants owe unpaid rent and vacated the property before the lease expired.
River Bend Developers LLC filed a complaint on Sept. 8 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Richard Kindle and Shari Kindle and Shari Kindle Inc. alleging breach of lease agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff leased the premises to the defendants for a five-year term in August 2008. The plaintiff claims that the defendants failed to make multiple rent payments and vacated the premises in 2011. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants owe $157,017.67.
The plaintiff seeks damages in the amount of $157,017.67, plus attorney's fees, costs and any further relief as the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Emily J. Johnson of Hunter & Johnson PC in Godfrey.
