Bank sues an Illinois corporation for failing to make payments

BELLEVILLE — Citizens Community Bank is suing a corporation for allegedly failing to make payments.

Citizens Community Bank filed a complaint on Aug. 15 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against S.W. Franklin Group Incorporated, alleging it failed to comply with its obligation to pay monthly instalments pursuant to the terms of an agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 24, 2010, it received a promissory note from S.W. Franklin Group regarding its indebtedness for allegedly not paying monthly instalments for a business loan. 

The plaintiff alleges S.W. Franklin Group failed to pay the monthly principal and accrued interest amount and failed to repay the amount due on the note.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for the total amount of $58,697.35 as of Aug. 1, 2017, plus attorneys' fees and legal expenses. 

It is represented by Myron A. Hanna of Hanna & Volmert, LLC in Belleville.
