BENTON – A Dieterich septic system retailer alleges two Texas companies have used its online content without permission.

Septic Solutions Inc. filed a complaint on Aug. 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois against TG Waste Water Treatment Systems LLC, TG Online LLC and Daniel S. Bryant, alleging trademark and copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff and defendants sell septic system repair products. The plaintiff alleges the defendants have used its Septic Solutions trademarks and also have unlawfully copied verbatim more than 300 pages of product page content from their website content and images.

As a result, the plaintiff alleges that the defendants' online presence will likely cause confusion and damage.

The plaintiff seeks injunctive relief, award of compensatory damages, attorneys' fees and all further relief the court may deem just and proper.

It is represented by John F. Watson and J. Patrick Lee of Craig & Craig LLC in Mattoon.
