Law money 13

EDWARDSVILLE — A licensor alleges its licensees failed to pay monthly licensing fees for a park.

J&C IP Inc. filed a complaint on Jan. 27 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Michael and Heather Anderson and ATPE LLC, alleging they failed to perform their contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, J&C alleges that in Dec. 21, 2014, it entered into a licensee agreement with the defendants for a park. The defendants agreed to pay a monthly license fee of 7% of the park's gross sales. As of Jan. 11, 2017, the sum amount of $75,395.11 remains due.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to make payments when such they became due.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in the amount of $75,395.11, costs and attorney's fees and all other relief that the court may deem just and proper.

It is represented by Karl S. Schroeder of Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale PC in Belleville.
