EDWARDSVILLE - A passenger is suing a motorist for allegedly causing a collision in St. Louis.

Sadaf Formuli filed a complaint on Dec. 30 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Michelina M. Rosado, alleging she failed to maintain proper control of her vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 6, 2015, she was a passenger in a vehicle traveling northbound on Laclede Station Road at the intersection of Murdoch Street in St. Louis when Rosado allegedly drove her vehicle into the plaintiff's vehicle.

The collision caused plaintiff to sustain severe and permanent injuries, the suit states.

Formuli alleges Rosado failed to keep a careful lookout and failed to reduce speed, swerve or stop her vehicle to avoid collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount in excess of $50,000, plus costs of this action.

She is represented by Brian M. Wendler and Angie Zinzilieta of Wendler Law PC in Edwardsville.
