EDWARDSVILLE — Regions Bank claims a borrower failed to make payments on a loan.
Regions Bank filed a complaint on Dec. 2, in the Madison County Circuit Court against Gary Layton Jr. alleging the borrower failed to perform his obligations under the loan agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 28, 2008, it reached a contract with the defendant for a loan. As of June 30, 2016, the defendant owes $214,069.81, including interest and late charges, the suit states.
The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to repay the amounts due and owing under the terms of the note.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages amounting to $214,069.81, plus interest, late charges, costs and all other legal and equitable relief.
