BELLEVILLE–A New York state couple is suing an O'Fallon motorist, alleging an automobile accident left them with injuries, medical expenses and loss of normal life.
Stephen Beck and Lisa Beck, of Carthage, N.Y., filed a lawsuit Nov. 6 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Garbriella Banuelos of O'Fallon, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, on Dec. 15, 2014, the plaintiffs were passengers in a vehicle that Banuelos' car struck when she drove across the center line of Radio Range Road in St. Clair Township. The suit says the plaintiffs have expended money for medical care, treatment and services, have experienced lost wages and will suffer an impairment of future earning capacity.
The Becks seek at least $50,000 plus court costs and attorney fees. They are represented by attorney Matthew Armstrong of Armstrong Law Firm in St. Louis.
