Driver and two passengers sue for injuries allegedly sustained in rear-end collision

An automobile driver and two passengers sued the driver of a second vehicle when the three were rear ended while driving on Illinois Route 157.

A motorist and two passengers are suing another driver following a rear-end collision on Illinois Route 157.

David Tabb, Barnela Tabb and Darnella Tabb filed a lawsuit on Oct. 23 against David Cooley in the St. Clair County Circuit Court, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs claim that while driving north bound on Illinois Route 157 their vehicle was rear-ended by Cooley's vehicle.

They allege the defendant failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to properly apply his brakes.

The plaintiff is represented by Thomas C. Rich of Fairview Heights.
