Madison County man ordered to pay debts of more than $119,000

A Madison County man has been ordered to pay debts of $119,017.78 to a Tacoma, Wash.-based restaurant financing company.

A Madison County man has been ordered to pay debts of $119,017.78 to a restaurant financing company based in Tacoma, Washington-based .

David Blasingim of Alton, a restaurateur operating under JB Restaurants, LLC, was ordered to pay the debt to Advance Restaurant Finance, LLC, according to a judgment filed in Madison County Circuit Court.

The order comes after a ruling by Judge Gary Tabor in Thurston County Superior Court in Washington. As part of the judgment, Blasingim owes Advance Restaurant a total of $132,489.66. The figure includes the base debt, plus $12,496.88 for interest, $600 in attorney’s fees and $375 in court costs.

The judgment included a provision that Blasingim pay 12-percent interest on his outstanding debt to Advance Restaurant Finance.

Attorney Brian Born represented Advance Restaurant Finance in Thurston County, Washington, where the state’s Superior Court is located.
