By Andrea Dearden | Nov 20, 2013

An Alton woman is accused of crashing into another driver in Godfrey while trying to make a left turn in front of oncoming traffic.

Elmer Valladares filed a lawsuit against Sarah Vosler Nov. 12 in Madison County Circuit Court.

Valladares was driving north on Humbert Road in May 2012, according to the complaint. As he neared the intersection of Union School Road, Valladares claims Vosler, driving south, tried to turn left in front of him and crashed into his car.

Valladares says he was hurt in the crash and is suing Vosler for negligence. He asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, loss of income and costs of the lawsuit.

Attorney Alan L. Napp of Alton represents him.
