A Madison County woman says she was hurt when another driver crashed into her at an intersection in East Alton.

Carolyn J. Johnson filed a lawsuit against John M. Eisele Nov. 14 in Madison County Circuit Court.

Johnson says she was driving her Chrysler 300 east on East St. Louis Avenue on April 12. At the same time Eisele was driving on East Alton Avenue and, at the intersection of East St. Louis Avenue, allegedly failed to yield to Johnson's car. Johnson claims Eisele crashed into the front passenger side of her car.

Eisele is accused of negligence and Johnson asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses and court fees.

She is represented by attorney Keith Short of Edwardsville.
